Multidisciplinary artist, born in 1962. She received her master’s degree at the Art Institute of the Art Department of the University of Silesia in Cieszyn, where she later also completed postgraduate studies in the field of Elements of Computer Science and Graphics Programs. A graduate of the Faculty of Philology at the University of Silesia in Katowice. In 2018, she completed 7-year studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow by closing the doctoral procedure and receiving the title of Doctor of Fine Arts.

She professionally deals with painting, computer graphics, drawing and photography. She often uses many of these forms at the same time, creating original collages. Her sources of inspiration include man and his relationship with nature and culture, as well as travels, which offer her the opportunity to explore this topic.

“I understand my work as a meeting with the Other who comes, reveals himself, makes himself present, as an attempt to get to know and understand the world. It also gives me the opportunity to commune with matter, to experience its trustworthiness, in which He – the image is already present or from which He is created. This does not mean, however, that the final effect is the most important, the process of creation itself, the “creative act”, is equally important. This is the time when I try to meet and understand the Other. My painting is an attempt to understand being – the way of existence of myself and the Other, establishing a dialogue with him by looking into myself and ahead. Breaking and putting the world back together with your own tools – senses.”
