Contemporary paintress, born in 1984 in Gdańsk. She currently lives and works in Sopot (Poland), after years spent in Scotland, England and Italy. She studied art history at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland and language and culture at the University of Greenwich in London. Participant of numerous contemporary art exhibitions in Genoa and Liguria. Her paintings have been appreciated by art collectors in Italy, Great Britain, the Netherlands and Russia.

Anya’s paintings are like a connection to a reality other than everyday life perceived by the senses. “I’m interested in the subconscious, unknown areas of the psyche. My works always refer to dreams, metaphysics and magic.” She describes his way of painting as intuitive and uses color to express the complexity of the quintessential human trait: emotions. “I believe in the power of colors and absolute artistic freedom, unconstrained by any rules. I treat my paintings as a source of energy that can help viewers awaken their senses and inner creative power. I am inspired by music, nature and the metaphysical side of life. During the dark period of the pandemic, creating was for for me it is like an escape to the immeasurable world of the soul, where the imagination is unlimited and thoughts are free.

In addition to working in the studio, Anya also expresses herself through live painting at concerts and other public events. It is her way of bringing art closer to people and embracing it with absolute improvisation and intuitive expression.
