FROM THE NATURE IS GOLD SERIES

The forest is my place on Earth. Perhaps because I come from the region of the Kurpians, who lived in the forests for a long time. Or maybe because those forest spirits I paint have been my friends for years, companions on walks and longtime neighbors when I lived near one of the forests in Warsaw.

I love the forest, I sing to it and speak to it. At the end of summer, I already wait for the autumn colors. I hug the trunks when it falls into its winter sleep. I think with longing about its spring awakening.
