Interdisciplinary artist, born in 1975 in Warsaw. Her work includes figurative painting, video, fabric sculpture, as well as doll design and collection. A graduate of the Faculty of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (prof. Grzegorz Kowalski’s multimedia studio, diploma in sculpture obtained in 2009), she also studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Nicolaus Copernicus in Toruń. She has a puppetry specialization diploma of the 95th National High School of Fine Arts in Nałęczów and is a scholarship holder of the ESAD Porto School of Art and Design 2007. Participant of various group exhibitions (including in Lviv, Stalowa Wola, Poznań, Biała Gallery in Lublin, National Gallery of Art “Zachęta” in Warsaw, Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw), she is also involved in performative projects. She coordinated the Art Fresh Festival in Warsaw and Targowisko Sztuki in Warsaw. Godlewska is also the owner of the original KIZIU-MIZIU brand, under which she creates unique, collectible mascots and puppet forms.
