OWL. THE ESSENCE OF POWER

I studied shamanism and shamanic practices for many years, and during one workshop, I went on a journey within myself to find my power animal, my inner ally with specific attributes. The owl was the first to come to me, and she still returns, bringing gifts and helping me discover my inner talents.

The owl is not wise in our human understanding, not an intellectual with glasses, as we often humanize her. She is, above all, an excellent hunter, with perfect hearing and the ability to move silently. She is fast, agile, and full of character. The rotation of her neck makes her seem almost unreal to me—like a magical, fearless traveler in the dark. In shamanism and other tribal spiritual practices, the owl is often our link between dimensions, including the world of the deceased.

No matter how much I simplify the subject now, I am still impressed by the TV series Twin Peaks and the words about owls that are spoken there: "Owls are not what they seem." In the story, the owl always appeared in a mysterious forest setting, serving as a doorway to the afterlife. I'll leave you with this thought.
